It is a pleasure to inform you that the VIIth World Congress on Science & Football will be held in Nagoya - Japan in 2011. The congress will be the first in Asia and should bring "Fresh Horizon" on Science & Football.

  With the FIFA World Cup 2002 in Korea/Japan acting as a catalyst, the Japanese Society of Science and Football was launched in 2003. The society pledges its full support for the World Congress.

  Considering the scale of the congress, Nagoya University has been chosen as the congress site. Nagoya University is a pivotal university in Japan and is proud of its long traditions and advanced academic background.

  We firmly believe that the VIIth Science and Football congress will be a meaningful event for scientists, coaches, players, and also provide a great opportunity to stimulate and act as a catalyst to further enhance scientific research geared towards football sports.
