Dear Colleague, It is our great pleasure, on behalf of the International Steering Group on Science & Football and Japanese Society of Science & Football (JSSF), to welcome all delegates to the joint congress of the VIIth World Congress on Science & Football and the IXth Annual Conference of Japanese Society of Science & Football, at Nagoya University, Japan. We firmly believe that this congress will be a meaningful event for sports scientists, coaches, medical doctors, administrators and players, and also provide a great opportunity to further enhance scientific research geared towards football sports in order to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and practice. The congress will cover all codes of Football and scientific and/or practical activities from grass roots to the elite level.
